Mahulena Čejkova reached 'National Street' (Národní třída) only after she had passed a barrier, made up from several police cars, at the underground station Můstek. Torn up flowers were scattered on the ground and further back, at the National Theater, young soldiers wiped their sweaty foreheads with their berets. Then they boarded the buses that took them back to their barracks.
